• HCI Live All media This is me, walking my talk 👍 I arrived today in San Diego for #hcilive which starts on Thursday. We are on a BEAUTIFUL property, but it only has two restaurants, which are a tad on the pricier side. There will be A LOT of us here this week, so getting a seat at those restaurants might prove difficult. And, sometimes it's just hard to find the best food choices at restaurants. So, for my own insurance, to make sure I definitely have some go-to options, I brought some snacks from home, and then I Ubered a ride to Sprouts and bought some groceries. Planning ahead is everything when you are trying to make mindful, healthy food choices. My goal is to strike a really good balance while I'm here between going out with friends, making the best choices I can, and eating exactly what I know makes me feel best. *************** In the fridge: Kombucha! Full-fat Greek yogurt, berries and almonds for breakfasts. Shredded chicken, apples, veggies and hummus for lunches/dinners. And a pile of snacks (for me and my hubby, who is here, too 😊)
